Acqua di Giò is the fresh marine fragrance every other one has been measured against since 1996. Bergamot, lime and neroli open it, then a watery, slightly salty heart with rosemary and jasmine, over cedar, white musk and patchouli. It is clean, easy and inoffensive, projects moderately, and gives five or six hours in the eau de toilette before it fades. A summer and daytime fragrance, and one of the most reliable gifts on the shelf.
