Aoud Forest is the greener side of Montale's oud range. Lavender, pine and bergamot at the start, then agarwood and cedar in the heart, with amber, tonka and musk underneath. The oud is present but tempered by the woods, so it reads as fresh and resinous rather than animalic. Longevity is around eight hours with moderate projection. It wears well in cool weather and outdoors. Mostly bought by men, and a good entry for those who find the other aouds too heavy.
