Profondo is the deeper, more mineral take on Acqua di Giò. The sea notes and bergamot are still there at the start, but the heart moves to rosemary, lavender and cypress, and the base is mineral and musky with a little patchouli. It is less citrus than the original and lasts longer, eight hours on skin, with moderate projection. Wears well year-round in Florida. The 125 ml is the size most customers want once they have tried it.
